Working with Scott & Golden Street:

“Scott is a fantastic animator, and a great guy to work with.  His drawing is always appealing and his acting adventurous and imaginative.  I’ve been impressed by the way he approaches his scenes- always putting himself in his characters shoes, seeing the moment from their point of view, and finding a way to connect with their common humanity.  Very method-very cool.”
Stephan Franck, Director, Sony Pictures Animation.

“I have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s greatest living animators, and Scott Petersen is among them.  His enthusiasm for the craft is infectious.  His skill and professionalism is second to none.  He has an integrity that is hard to come by.”
Sean Sullivan, Story board artist, illustrator and background painter, Walt Disney Feature Animation

“Scott is a fantastic professional used to deadlines and pressure.  He is always willing to walk the extra mile in order to bring benefit to the production.  He has deep knowledge of the field of animation and a lot of experience.  He is also a very creative and talented artist and a good friend.  I highly recommend his work and professionalism.”
Carlos Kuri, Director White Knight Creative Productions.

“If everyone in the world were as honest, creative and trustworthy as Scott, there would be no war and we would all have more free time because work would always get done on time.”
Seth Kearsley, Director, Columbia / Tri-Star animation.

“Scott was hired as my Overseas Animation Supervisor and lived in Manilla during the production of Kronk’s New Groove and Disney’s Enchanted Tales.  He acclimated into his role at Toon City Studios very quickly and did an excellent job of overseeing the work produced there.  Scott is a very hard and diligent worker who has excellent people management skills and was a wonderful addition to the overall production crew.  After the completion of the production, Scott remained in the Philippines for several years learning all aspects of production and has brought that knowledge back to the United States to open his own studio.”
David Block, Director/Animator, Disney Toon Studios, Warner Brothers.

My deepest appreciation to Scott Petersen and the truly gifted artists at Golden Street Animation. They worked on an impossible project of creating 22 illustrations with a two-month deadline for a children’s book that wasn’t even written yet. They knocked it out of the park! They did the most amazing and spectacular art pieces. I provided very little information to work with and the artist’s visualization of my rudimentary concepts is nothing short of inspired. The artwork absolutely made the book and has garnered much excitement among publishers. Their work ethic is beyond words. Scott is so easy to work with and accommodating of my many requests.  He made me very comfortable during a very stressful task and produced the artwork easily within my challenging deadline. I definitely recommend Golden Street and have other projects in mind for them. I can’t thank them enough or say enough good things about their work. They are in a word, awesome!
